Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli announced the dates for Bruins development camp at his July 1 conference call with the media and the team made it official on Thursday with word that the annual summer camp will take place July 9-13 at their Ristuccia Arena practice facility in Wilmington, Mass.
All sessions are open and free to the public, and will begin with a 10:30 a.m. practice session on Wednesday.
The Bruins Development Camp roster features 23 players, including 13 forwards, nine defensemen and a pair of familiar goalies in Malcolm Subban and Zane Gothberg.
At this point the middle Subban sibling will likely be the marquee name among the roster of B’s prospects and his development arc has him about to take over as the No. 1 goalie for the AHL's Providence Bruins. The camp will feature on-ice sessions every day with Bruins coaches and training staff and a number of community events on Friday in the middle of the camp.
The roster includes 17 players from the Bruins organization, counting four of Boston’s five selections in the 2014 NHL Draft. Fourth-round pick Danton Heinen is not among the group of 2014 draft picks set to attend the camp. He's taking summer classes at the University of Denver to get ready for his college career.
Six additional players will attend on an invite basis, including Noble & Greenough defenseman Billy Sweezey, who was a name on the B’s draft board last weekend in Philadelphia.
The development camp roster:
Forwards: Cole Bardreau*, Kyle Baun*, Anders Bjork, Anton Blidh, Peter Cehlarik, Mitchell Dempsey, Michael Doherty*, Ryan Donato, Ryan Fitzgerald, Alex Globke*, Colton Hargrove, Simon Norberg*, David Pastrnak.
Defensemen: Linus Arnesson, Matt Benning, Matt Grzelcyk, Emil Johansson, Rob O’ Gara, Wiley Sherman, Billy Sweezey*, Oleg Yevenko*.

*Indicates attendance is on an invite basis.
