Currently riding a nine-game win streak, the 2013-14 Boston Bruins are in the lead in the Eastern Conference and not far off the pace in the hunt for the Presidents' Trophy (most points in the NHL).
The question we'll tackle on Arbella Insurance Early Edition at 6:30: is this Bruins team better than the past three incarnations, including the Stanley Cup champions?
Addition Jarome Iginla is leading the team in goals with 25. His predecessor Nathan Horton's most goals in a season with the Bruins was 26 in 2010-11. The second line of Patrice Bergeron (19 goals), Brad Marchand (21 goals) and Reilly Smith (19 goals) is clicking. Carl Soderberg, a late-season addition last year and mainly a passenger in the playoffs, has found his stride centering Chris Kelly and Loui Eriksson. And the energy line of Gregory Campbell, Daniel Paille and Shawn Thornton have helped sustain play during the current winning streak.
So, is this the best Bruins team in the past few years? Leave your answer below!
