Brown: I can see them bringing back Branch

Julian Edelman is out.

So how does that affect the Patriots? Troy Brown weighs in.

"Hugely. They've already signed Donte' Stallworth back to their roster so they have to make some adjustments there and as the Patriots do better than anybody else, mix and match guys and plug them in here and there," Brown said.

Meanwhile, Deion Branch "on the DL" as Merloni put it. Could he be back in the mix soon?

"I would think so," Branch said. "Going into the playoffs he's always been a big-game player and probably will be once he gets that hamstring right. I can see them bringing him back into the mix sometime here during the next two or three weeks getting ready for the playoffs."
