Each day, the Comcast SportsNet staff gathers in the early afternoon to discuss that evening's Arbella Early Edition show. And each afternoon, Gary Tanguay will post the minutes of that meeting, giving you an idea of what to expect on that night's show, which begins at 6:30 p.m.

DATE: Monday, April 21, 2014
SITE: CSNNE Conference Room
TOPIC: Arbella Early Edition Content
ATTENDING: Nate “No Time to Waste,” Long. John Zannis “Kevin Miller envy showing through.” Jason “The Smile” Levine. He does have a nice smile. Jimmy Canada. He spent the meeting reading yesterday’s meeting minutes which were HOF in my opinion. And featuring… Gary “I know what a thong is for now” Tanguay

1. Nate is fresh off his spread in Boston Common Magazine in which he and his lovely bride to be Amy photographed at a party held in their honor at a local intimate apparel boutique. Amy looked fab as always and Nate cleaned up rather nicely. The food in the pics looked a little skimpy though. Just a thought from an uninvited observer…am I hurt. Nooooo. I was busy that night anyway.

2. So photo boy determined Bruins was the lead and he was correct. Chris Gasper and I will give a hot take on tonight’s game three in Detroit. Christopher L. feels this series as if it will be close. I disagree. My gut tells me tonight the Bruins could blowout the Wings with a knockout punch. After our hopeless opinions, Kevin Paul Dupont will take over from Detroit with a legit take.

3. Jackie MacMullen checks in for the B block. The Sox – Yankees lead the segment as we discuss the return of Jacoby Ellsbury vs. Johnny Damon. My feeling is there was more hate for Damon leaving as opposed to Jacoby. Johnny had more of a connection with Boston fans than Ellsbury did. Could Jacoby get a golf clap as opposed to boos because real hate is lacking?

4. In the C block…for many the marathon talk is over and I would agree…for the most part. However, I voiced my opinion that I wanted to hear what Gasper and Jackie had to say about the day. Both were there and I have the highest regard for the quality of their observations and story telling ability. They did not disappoint. Chris observed early in the morning that nothing was done or constructed at the exact location of both bombs. He was not being critical, it was simply an observation. Jackie interviewed the people who stood in the exact same spots. It was their way of showing defiance.

In the Early Look I will show you what former Celtics Tony Allen and Kendrick Perkins have been up to.

That is our show on paper. Find out what really happens on Arbella’s Early Edition at 630 on CSNNE.
