FOXBORO --The Patriots could certainly use Patrick Chung in thesecondary on Sunday in Oakland, but prior to Thursdays practice at GilletteStadium, the injured safety said his status for Week 4 is not up to him.
Thats the coachs decision, trainers decision, saidChung, who had right thumb surgery after Week 2, forcing him to miss lastSundays game against the Buffalo Bills. I dont make that decision. Im justgoing to make sure Im ready to go.
Chung was later asked if he would be able to play againstthe Raiders with a cast on his hand. To that, he responded, Me? I can play .. . Ill be ready to play. If coach wants me out there, then Im out there.
