Papelbon: Sox have to ‘grind and shine'

NEW YORK -- Jonathan Papelbon, who contributed 1 23 scoreless innings to Sunday night's 14-inning victory over the Yankees, called the 7-4 win "one of those games where you will your way through it," but those are the only kinds of games he expects for the remainder of the season.

And he loves it.

"It's going to be that way from here on out," he said. "If you don't enjoy that, if you don't like that, I don't think you got blood running through your body . . .

"Grind and shine . . . That's what we gotta do. That's what we gotta do from here on out."
