New Jets receiver Derrick Mason -- shown engaging in trash talk with Bill Belichick during the NFL Films documentary 'Bill Belichick: A Football Life' during a 2009 Pats-Ravens game, which ended with Belichick cursing out Mason -- intimated Friday that the Pats only won because they cheated, and promised he would "see Belichick out there" during the New England-New York matchups this year.

Mason brought up the Spygate scandal when asked by reporters to comment on his '09 exchange with Belichick.
"I respect him because he's a very good head coach," said Mason, according to nj.com. "They won a bunch of games during those times (putting emphasis on the words). When they were allegedly . . . you know (referring to Spygate). They won a bunch of games.
"But, nah, I respect Belichick, he's a good coach. But I will see him out there."
