FOXBORO --Rob Gronkowski didnt have to give his older brother, Dan, alecture on how business goes down in New England.
Dan already knows.
Hes been here for a couple hours, so I think hes got thatdown, said Rob on Wednesday at Gillette Stadium.
The Patriots announced the signing of Dan on Wednesday, andwhile he was too busy trying to catch up on his Week 1 preparations to talk tothe media during his first day in New England, his younger brother Robdiscussed his excitement for his teams newest addition.
You get excited, definitely, said Rob. Its a familymember. Im grateful to have my brothers in the league. And when it comes downto it, when you get a brother on the same team, I mean, thats awesome.
It was already a dream come true that he was in the NFL,but at the same time, to have him on your team, its awesome to have someonethere for a lot more support.
Like Rob, Dan is a tight end. Hes four years older thanRob and is enteringhis third year in the league, but he has actually played in less NFL games than Rob, who is in his second season.

For those unfamiliar with the former Detroit Lions andDenver Broncos tight end, Rob gave a scouting report on his older brother.
Hes just a hard worker, said Rob. Wherever he is, hesjust always working hard, in the weight room, on the field, off the fieldstudying. Hes just going to be a hard worker, trying to get down all the playsright away.
