The New England Patriots are making cuts in order to finalize their roster of 53 on Saturday.
After releasing eight players Friday, the Pats still needed to cut 19 in order to get under Saturday's 4 p.m. deadline.

So far, the Patriots have released Markell Carter, Aaron Lavarias, Eric Moore, Alex Silvestro, Tiquan Underwood and Landon Cohen, according to various Twitter sources.
