A high-pressure front that was seen last week in Florida is expected to enter Detroit on Saturday. And Matthew Stafford knows it's coming. "They're going to come," Stafford said Tuesday, according to Michael Rosenberg of the Detroit Free Press. "I'm not going to go through an entire season without getting hit. I know that. Everybody knows that. But I think the O-line has done a great job of blocking guys, and I'm getting the ball out quick and to the right guy. So we're gonna just keep playing. It's not something I focus on."Noting the heat applied by the Patriots defense against the Buccaneers -- heat rarely brought by the Patriots in the past several seasons -- Rosenberg writes that this is a necessary test for Stafford. "The Patriots have been going after quarterbacks this exhibition season," Rosenberg writes. "Stafford hasn't really been pressured. It will be good for him to get hit a few times, and it will be good for the rest of us to see how he plays against a fierce pass rush. Stafford has been excellent in the first two exhibition games, but the third game will tell us more."Stafford will be a great test for the Patriots' too. Especially the back-end guys in the secondary dealing with Calvin Johnson. So look forward to that. And get used to the idea of the Patriots' pass-rush being described as "fierce."Tom E.
