According to NBC 7 in Washington D.C., Albert Haynesworth pleaded "no contest" to simple assault for an incident that occurred at the Washington, D.C. W Hotel earlier this year.
As part of the plea agreement, Haynesworth has been ordered to serve 160 hours of community service. If he completes the community service and stays out of trouble for 18 months, prosecutors have agreed to drop the charges against Haynesworth.
Haynesworth has also agreed to an alcohol abuse assessment and psychological assessment as part of the plea deal, according to the Washington Post.
Haynesworth was in court Monday before the beginning of his originally-scheduled trial, which was set to start Tuesday at the District of Columbia Superior Court. If he had been convicted of the misdemeanor sex abuse charge for allegedly fondling a W Hotel waitress, he could have served a maximum of six months in prison.
The unidentified waitress says that Haynesworth fondled her breast while slipping his a credit card into her bra to pay for his tab during a Feb. 13 party.
Haynesworth twice said "Go Patriots" as he entered D.C. Superior Court on Monday. Here's video of his arrival.

ESPN is reporting that Roger Goodell will not pursue further disciplinary action against Haynesworth.
