During his conference call with reporters on Friday, Patriots coach Belichick had no update on the status of running back Danny Woodhead and safety Bret Lockett, both of whom were hurt in the Pats' 31-14 victory over Tampa Bay on Thursday.

The Patriots coach said it usually takes 24-48 hours to determine an injury's true severity.

Lockett was carted off in the second quarter after suffering an injury in the grointhigh area. Woodhead was knocked woozy after taking a big hit on special teams in the fourth quarter.

As for what Woodhead -- a key offensive player -- was doing on the field, and on special teams no less, that late in a preseason game, Belichick said his teams always plays 60 minutes.

When we go into any game, all the players are told to be ready to play an entire 60 minutes, said Belichick. Thats what a game is. We dont stop playing, we dont stop coaching. Everybodys ready to play the whole time, from beginning to end, and thats every player and every coach thats part of the game. Thats how we approach them all.
