In a conference call on Friday, Belichick also commented on Logan Mankins new contract for the first time, and had nothing but good things to say about his offensive lineman.
I think the world of Logan, said Belichick. Hes done a great job for us here since hes come to the Patriots. Im glad that hell be here for many years in the future. Hes one of our best players, one of our most consistent players. Hes been durable, hes got a great work ethic, hes really smart, he plays hard, hes tough.
Hes an outstanding person, hes an outstanding player, and he does things the way that we would like our team to do them. So hes a great example for all of us to look at, because he plays hard, hes not selfish. Hes tough, he puts the team first. Hes a winner. Im glad we have him on our team.
