Robert Kraft said the reason the Patriots have been able to go on a relative shopping spree this preseason is because they planned for this very scenerio before the lockout hit.

The Pats front office must have done a lion's share of planning because between re-signing Logan Mankins and signing newly acquired Albert Haynesworth and Chad Ochocinco, they've been quite busy.

Here's the contract breakdown on a few more notable Patriots:

Shaun Ellis got a 1-year 4 million dollar deal that's parceled up into a few pieces, according to ESPN. He got a 1.5 million base salary, a 750,000 signing bonus and a 1.75 million roster bonus.

Matt Light got a two-year deal that's worth 12 million, the Associated Press reported. He got a 6 million signing bonus, and 1 million in base salary for 2011. In 2012 he'll have a 3.4 million base salary and get a 100,000 workout bonus.

ESPN also reported that Andre Carter received a one-year deal with a base salary of 1.75 million and a 500,000 signing bonus.
