Which is why second-year tight end Aaron Hernandez decided to give up the number for free.

The other reason? Hernandez wore No. 81 in college, but since Randy Moss utilized that number last season, the tight end had to try something new.

Now, the numbers have officially been given to their rightful owners, and everyone's happy about it.

Chad Ochocinco came to the team, and hes a great player, and I had a chance to get my college number back," said Hernandez. "He obviously wanted 85, andit wasnt a problem. So I thought he deserved it and he should get it.

Were playing at a high level, so all of us have a decentamount of money," added Hernandez. "I definitely should have, but I didnt. It was just a welcometo the team. Im glad to have him. Hopefully we get some big things out of himthis year, like everybody else. I thought he may look better and play betterwith 85, because thats his last name. So why not give it to him?
