The New York Giants have signed undrafted free agent and former Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich.

"Decision is made I will be a GIANT can't wait to get to NYC. Thank you for everything," Herzlich tweeted on Tuesday.

A cancer survivor, Herzlich missed 2009 but appeared in 12 games in 2010, making 50 solo and 15 assisted tackles with four interceptions. During his junior year in 2008, he made 81 total and 29 assisted tackles in 14 games, returning six interceptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns.

He joined Tom E. Curran on Quick Slants in the spring to discuss his feelings after not being drafted and his plans for the future.
