UNIONDALE, N.Y.Well, this is where things get a little ugly. The Bruins blew a two-goal lead against a playoff-hungry Buffalo Sabres team on Thursday night, and then did the very same thing versus a hapless New York Islanders bunch at Nassau Coliseum on Friday night.Matt Moulson scored a goal with two seconds left in the second period to steal back the momentum for the Isles, but the Black and Gold belly flop was complete when a Jack Hillen point blast bounced off Dennis Seidenberg and into the net for a 4-2 victory for the Isles.Thefour unanswered goals for the Islanders in the second and third period wiped out a two-goal Boston lead built on strikes by Nathan Horton and Zdeno Chara, and continued a four-game losing streak for the Bs. The Chara strike in the second period was during a 5-on-3 power play and broke up an 0-for-21 stretch of futility on the man advantage for Boston. While the defeat at the hands of the Canadiens was understandable given the revenge factor and the Bs took points in overtime loss to Penguins and Sabres, there was no way to slap any lipstick on this particular pig.A needless Brad Marchand interference penalty got things going in the second period for the Isles, and allowed them to capitalize with Moulsons power play goala score that started with Moulson stripping Patrice Bergeron and then heading to the net to convert a Jon Tavares pass.It was Moulsons 29th goal of the season, and was exactly the kind of hockey play that can completely reverse the momentum of a hockey game.
